Staying here was a highlight! The buffet on Christmas day with traditional Sri Lankan sweets was a delightful surprise, and lounging by the lovely outdoor pool after our meals added a perfect touch to our stay. If only the bathrooms had been a bit cleaner, it would have been perfect, but I’d definitely recommend using Google Maps for easier navigation! 🎉

we had such a great time at jungle hut! our room was super spacious and clean, with a nice tree growing through it which was really cool. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfy, like arranging transport for us when we needed it. also, the food was delish, especially that devilled beef—so good! we loved swimming in the pool surrounded by nature while watching the peacocks and monkeys.

the only downside was that the ac could’ve been better in our room. also, the location is a bit far from the main attractions, but totally worth it!

The tree growing through the room was a unique touch.

During our stay, we faced significant issues with sleeping due to noise from nearby trees, especially on windy nights. the lack of card payment options was inconvenient, forcing us to carry large amounts of cash. We were disappointed that there was no outdoor seating available for us, which would have made our stay more enjoyable.

It was just a decent option for a city break in Sigiriya with definitely value for money. Enjoyed the outdoor dining area surrounded by nature, which was quite charming and relaxing. Make sure your driver knows the right way to get here without relying on maps.

The Jungle Hut Resort really surprised me in the best way. I loved my room, the Superior Double Room, especially the tree that grew through it. The decor was beautiful, and the space was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The pool area stood out as well, surrounded by a stunning garden. It was refreshing to swim while watching bats fly overhead. Having breakfast and dinner at the outdoor dining area was perfect, thanks to the delicious food. I even received a lovely surprise for my birthday with cake and decorations from the staff, which made my day unforgettable. I faced a minor issue with the Wi-Fi. It was somewhat unreliable, making it challenging to finalize my travel plans. Room service could improve, particularly with the option for ironing facilities that I found lacking. Still, overall, Jungle Hut provided an enjoyable stay in nature's embrace.

My family and I had the absolute joy of waking up to the sounds of chirping birds and peacocks right outside our door! The family room was ample enough to give us space and comfort, while the genuine hospitality from the owner made us feel like family. Dining under the stars in the beautifully landscaped common area, surrounded by nature, was a delight we will never forget!
